quietearth [Celluloid 09.17.06] post apocalyptic movie review
If I had a post apocalyptic sports section, this movie would definitely go into it. Amid a backdrop that looks like war torn Israel, the Juggers play a violent game using the skull of a dog. This movie was made in 1989 and really lacks character development or a plot. I'd really like to tell you I enjoyed watching this movie, but I didn't. In fact, I had to finish it over a couple of weeks time it was so boring. There is some cool scenery towards the end, but other than that, this movie gets a 4 out of 10. Even Vincent D'Onofrio can't save this flick.

Just a side note. There is actually a real league of Juggers in Germany that play this game. There are several different teams that compete.
