Key Characters:
Lylah (Whitney Getz)
Lam (Kyle Jemison)
Buffy (Skye Jordan)
Jim (J. Brandon Maughon)
Judge (Leonard Zanders)

Overview:
This movie starts out with a bang, literally. The city is engulfed in flames and seven strangers retreat into a building for shelter amid the destruction. One of the seven, a woman, is screaming, and dies immediately. Another has his leg damaged. They are in a room that looks like a big storage house.

The Story:
One of the group's members asserts dominance right from the get go, and talks briefly about the apocalypse as spoken of in the Bible. "The world will be engulfed in flame". At first they argue trying to figure out what's going on, but eventually all agree they need to find a way out. According to the storyline this is supposed to be a "government" building, and another character shows up a little ways into the movie, adding to the mystery. Apparently he knows something about what's going on. The characters then go on an exploration, and this is when they start encountering the zombies, fighting them with axes and what looks like a machette.

The Rating:
Well I didn't give away the ending, which we don't do here, but I gotta tell you, this movie was terrible. The lighting and recording were horrible, and there was barely any zombie action, so the title is misleading. I will say that all the acting wasn't terrible. I love zombie movies, including B-grade ones, and this didn't even fit into that category. Don't bother.

Yep, it was a machete. The original title was actually "Shelter" the distributor changed it and chose to market it as a zombie movie.
I won't bother to defend the movie, your review was very fair. My new movie "Edges of Darkness" is much better.
