Key Characters:
Geoffre (John Byrd)
Ed (Charles McKeithan)

Overview:
This is one of those movies that you need to read the back of the box to really understand so here it is: "Before sundown, two diplomats must defuse a volatile international dillema. Ambassadors Day takes place thousands of years in the future, when the remnants of the human species have moved indoors to escape the wrath of an environment turned hostile. Many generations have passed, and all that's left of communication between these isolated sanctuaries of humankind are the Ambassadors.

Long after the end of the world has passed into myth, two envoys meet to exchange the weekly numbers of their people. It is a day like any other in Rendezvous Zone Eight-Seven Northwest." I'll stop there.

The Story:
We start off with Ed scrubbing the sign in his gasmask and "DO NOT SHOOT ME" clothing. The message on this sign plays a pivotal role in the ending, so don't forget it. The "operator", which for Ed is a flying robotic eye, follows him to marker 87 NW, where he meets Geoffrey, and the embassy is established. Geoffrey then starts with the weekly numbers exchange.

The Dialog:
"Social intercontinuity ratio: 57 over 006, Socio economic index 67 over 45, Social index 335 over 9. Socio biotic standard... Social introsopic reversion ratio..." I have to say I don't know what it means, but it sounded cool. They even exchange file headers consisting of some binary before all this starts. Needless to say, the dialog was very inventive, thats why I added this section.

The Rating:
Weighing in at 20 minutes and with a budget under 50k, this movie packed quite a punch! From the flying operator to the ball that turned into a chair, the whole thing was very well put together, and I would HIGHLY recommend seeing a screening if you can get to one. I give this movie a solid 8 out of 10, and I hope to see somebody give Dave Kellum money so he can make some more movies for our enjoyment. Hear that Hollywood?
Oh and I always have to have a problem with something right? My one problem was the boxes that looked like styrofoam, but it was easy to overlook. Like usual I don't do spoilers, so even though the movie is only 20 minutes long, I barely told you anything. Here's the upcoming screenings for the movie, and for further info you can check the website.

And finally, a special thanks to Dave Kellum for the screener.
