For all you hardcore gamers out there I'm sure this is old news, but for those of us (like me) who don't really game, this is news to me. So here it is, ID Software (The creators of DOOM amongst others) announced their newest game recently called Rage. In it, players fight an oppressive government in a post-apocalyptic world. It's using a newly designed graphics engine, and there is currently no release date. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's supposed to be both racing and first person shooter.
