quietearth [Celluloid 09.19.07] post apocalyptic movie news

I've been sitting on this one for a while now, but it's time it got play. Yes, it's another zombie PA movie, and it's defined as "super low budget", but who cares? Give me some good zombie action and a decimated world and I'm happy. Apparently this was made by a guy who is a member of the horror-movies.ca forums.

"When Chase Smith alienates his girlfriend, loses his job and gets kicked out of his house, he figures only alcohol can cure the worst day of his life. What he doesn't know is that none of that will matter in 24 hours, because when Chase returns from a drunken wandering the next morning, he comes to find that everyone in his small town is dead... When Chase realizes that he's the only living being left in town, the bodies start to rise...and run...after him. As he holes up his old home, Chase discovers that he has no outside communication. There are no T.V. or radio broadcastings, no planes in the air, nobody outside but the lifeless bodies who want nothing but to get to Chase. He is completely alone and must make a decision: Revert back to alcoholism and drink his nightmare away, or make things right by facing the responsibility of surviving the undead..."
