Apollo 54 is a low-budget, vintage Italian sci-fi with some great CGI which is currently running the festival circuit. It has something to do with exploration on a cable that runs off into nowhere, and don't worry, the trailer is subtitled.
"What are those strange symbols that are interrupting the television transmissions? This zany Italian film pays homage to the classic Sci-Fi flicks of the 50s. It's a joyous comedy with a dazzling hook, what's at the end of the cable? In the woods a mysterious cable reaches toward the stars, Bobby Joe and Jim Bob decide to build a galactic gondola to find out, and encounter many odd twist and turns along the way."
