Key Characters:
Ben (Brian Posehn)
Luke (Chris Kattan)
Elmer (James Denton)
Claypool (Matt Besser)
Cletus (Chris Coppola)
Sue (Navi Rawat)

Overview:
Geronimo was rumored to have magical abilities and before he was killed made a powder called the "white man's curse" which turns people into zombies. Luke, in love with a prostitute, teams up with Elmer, a deserter, after they escape from jail, robbing the corrupt sherriff and high-tailing it out of town. Sue, an Indian who went to boarding school, bushwhacks them and from here on in, it's the three of them on the run from the zombie sherrif, his posse, and the union army.

The Story:
A woman and her daughter are making berry pie. As the daughter sets the pie down on the windowsill she sees a man outside, her father, staggering around. Her mother goes outside to yell at him for being drunk but he comes lunging at her, he's a zombie! The last shot we see after them screaming is daddy biting into mommy's head.

Meanwhile Luke is getting ready to go see his sweetheart who's up on stage showing her legs! He picks a fight with the guy playing piano and the sheriff runs them both into jail, stealing Elmer's money. In the next cell is the zombie who ate his wife and daughter, he's scheduled to be hanged the next morning. Elmer picks the lock later that night and puts the deputy in the cell and guess what, he gets bitten after they escape (oh and they also rob the sherriff too). After this they get bushwhacked by Sue, who turns out to be related to Geronimo, the zombie plague spreads, and the adventure really begins!

The Rating:
First I should say this was initially dropped by one distributor (I can't remember who but I think it was Weinstein) and was hanging in limbo for a while before the current distributor picked it up. That right there says something very bad about the film. I have to say I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get much .. let alone anything. Chris Kattan played his usual feminine self with poor comedic writing, and James Denton was probably the big star of the movie which isn't saying a heck of a lot.

Does it have gore? Minimally. What are the zombies like? Intelligent, talkative, but still slow. The music? Out of place, but the whole movie got better towards the end. Is it really a zombedy? I wouldn't call it that. It did have a couple of funny moments, but overall, it's a 5 out of 10. Don't worry Chris, even Adam Sandler did a couple of crappy movies. One more thing, watch the credits, there's outtakes.

Cowboy and Union Soldier Zombies!!! Awesome. Zombies that talk, and have issues, omg. This is my new fav zombie movie. Chris Kattan rocks in his usual style
