For those who don't know the 1974 film Deathdream (aka Dead of Night) it's about a young man who dies in vietnam, but somehow by his mothers wish he returns home alive, except he isn't exactly there. He sits in his room and doesn't interact with anyone, and only ventures out at night. If you haven't seen it, go watch it, it's incredibly stunning, in fact I just watched it for the first time earlier this year. Well now on the heel of news what writer Stephen Susco (The Grudge, Red) is doing next, one of them is a remake of this great film, and no, this doesn't turn me off. I want to see more! Zero Dark Thirty will be directed by John Stahlberg and it will be his first feature length direction, lets hope it turns out good.
