quietearth [Celluloid 12.18.07] movie news action



Originally I had ignored this, but after reading Christopher Nolan, the same guy who wrote and directed Batman Begins is doing this, I decided to check it out. I was floored, this looks even better then its predecessor and it still has one of my favorite actors, Christian Bale. Did I also mention Heath Ledger is the joker? I didn't even recognize him. Scheduled for a release in summer 2008, it looks like the Joker gets caught!

"Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker."

saw the six minute preview in imax before 'i am legend'. very badass. im a big fan of christopher nolan and loved what he did with most of batman begins (not a big fan of the ending of that one). he's one hell of a filmmaker.
