If you needed any more convincing that the post apocalyptic genre is now mainstream after blockbusters like I am Legend, then look no further. Quiet Earth friend and filmmaker Christopher John Stack let me know about a yearly poll of executives on what the hottest unmade scripts in hollywood are called the "black list". It seems 4 of them are yes, post apocalyptic. One of these is no surprise, being based on the highly popular book World War Z by Max Brooks which Brad Pitts production company optioned the rights to.

We haven't announced 2 of these, but I've been sitting on them and plenty others waiting for some actual news or a greenlight. Rest assured, there is plenty more PA to come.
