As we round the new year I've been checking on the status for some long overdue films, one of which is the volunteer, non-profit, and beautifully shot Human Residue. I've traded emails with director Chris Bouchard who informed us they've had some setbacks as well as conflicting schedules with their actors working on other projects, and we are now looking at a LATE 2009 release date! The waterworks are going as I think of having to wait almost an entire 2 years to see this. Show your love for HR and leave a comment! Let Chris know you want to see it!

Now for those who missed it, upon completion this flick is going to be released FREE, and who doesn't love free? We've got a little synopsis here, some trailerage, and the website which should have some new content up soon!

"After emerging from a well paid medical isolation experiment, seven young volunteers are thrown into a desperate struggle for their lives in a post apocalyptic world. Something has gone terribly wrong. But is this really a post-plague doomsday or could the experiment still be going on?"

I remember hearing about this actually. The premise sounds awesome. Sucks we have to wait till 2009 but, oh well, I guess good things do come to those who wait.
