This has been getting quite a bit of press lately and after watching the video and checking out the details, you'll see why. It takes a look at what would happen to the world were we to disappear, through the eyes of experts in engineering, botany, ecology, biology, geology, climatology and archeology. Not only does it have the money PA shots we all love, it delves into a bit of chaos theory, and talks about how skyscrapers would become "vertical ecosystems". That right there sold me.

This one hits close to home as you probably already know, we not only cater to genre film but all things post apocalyptic. In fact, that's how we started. But it goes further then that ... to the point where I have a Makarov knockoff with hollow points on me as I write this. I also have a basement full of canned goods, and many more firearms at the ready.. Bring on the chaos! Enough about me though.

"Life After People goes to remote islands off the coast of Maine to search for traces of abandoned towns, beneath the streets of New York to see how subway tunnels may become watery canals, to the Montana wilderness to divine the destiny of the bears and wolves." From what I can find, the docu is about 50 minutes long, so check your local listings. Below is the show link with plenty of detail including sample footage.

check out the book, The World Without Us. I'll bet it was the primary source and inspiration for this tv show.
