quietearth [Celluloid 01.25.08] movie news action



Written and directed by Dennis Law comes a kung-fu/gangster flick they claim "stands out for the stark brutality of the fight sequences, as yet unseen in Chinese cinema." That's a pretty hefty claim, but the star of the film, Sammo Hung, was the action director and also did some choreography on the breathtaking Kung Fu Hustle. The movie also stars Simon Yam, Danny Lee, Wu Jing, Lam Suet, Cheung Siu-Fai, Kenneth Low, and Jacky Heung. It looks like it's being dropped in Hong Kong on the 26th of February, let's hurry this one up! Read on for synopsis and trailer.
