I just found this folks, and for all of you who are big fans of Charles Bukowski, it looks like we're in for a treat. The same company that is behind Rugrats, Duckman, and all sorts of other cartoons, Klasky-Csupo, is doing a "mature cartoon for the cyber generation based on the short stories of Charles Bukowski, whose character Hank Chinaski troubled love life and financial state drive him through thrilling adventures and nearly fatal encounters with the Lady Death herself." I don't think the person who put the description in is a big Bukowski fan because they misspelled Chinaski, hah! What's really odd is that Johnny Depp is attached as the lead voice-over of Hank yet I can find no news of this anywhere. This is all we have for now, but there's a great Bukowski poem I threw in after the break.

I Met A Genius
I met a genius on the train
today
about 6 years old,
he sat beside me
and as the train
ran down along the coast
we came to the ocean
and then he looked at me
and said,
it's not pretty.
