While a synopsis of the merely dramatic might point in any direction possible, the footage available for this one narrows it down to the strikingly charismatic and beautiful. The director Zak Forsman has done this in a minimalist style which shines though rather then weighing it down. Check out the footage after the break!

“Heart of Now” concerns a young woman (Marion Kerr) with a profound longing for a sense of family. Devastated by her boyfriend’s sudden withdrawal from their relationship, Amber’s circumstance thrusts her back into the presence of the father-figure (Kelly McCracken) that abandoned her and her dying mother nearly a decade ago. Amber confronts the deeper issues at the very heart of her suffering, and finds transcendence in a brief moment at the very heart of now.

Hi, FYI - IMDB shows Zak Forman as the director for this film (also, see the film's website) and Nuri Bilge Ceylan is merely an influence. Thought I'd mention it, being a Turk and a film fan :)

yes, hello. I am the director of Heart of Now and admittedly a mere "student" of Ceylan's work.

Oh hi :) yeah, think the article needs to be amended somewhat to reflect the fact that *you* are the director, and not Ceylan.
