It seems that both Twitch and BD love this movie and we reported on it way back on January 15th as one of our picks for the then upcoming International Film Festival at Rotterdam. I'm really excited to see this as Magnet Releasing (Magnolia's genre arm) has picked it up for distro here in the US, but now we have news of a different kind. According to BD, JJ Abrams production company Bad Robot is going for the remake rights, and while it hasn't gone through yet, I did love Cloverfield (and so did our whole team) and I think this might actually work.
