FINALLY! Beach Party, a rare entry into the post apocalyptic canon with a comedy tip is going to be getting a DVD release this July 15th courtesy of millions of screaming fans and scantily clad models. Ok, so I'm lying, there isn't a million screaming fans but the film was well received, and the scantily clad women are nowhere to be found, except for the dvd box cover. Don't let that deter you though! This epic about the run for presidency in a post-atomic America will have you laughing and happy that there's no fallout. Link to pre-order from Amazon, our review, and embedded trailer after the break. And yes, this dvd cover art sucks.

What the hell is up with that DVD cover?? Looks like they're trying to fool people into thinking it's really some kind of beach party movie with scantily clad women.

Anyway, glad to hear this will finally be released, been looking forward to this for so long now.

This is the kind of blatantly misleading marketing that only works against films in the long run. It makes casual movie viewers dislike the film because it didn't offer them what they were promised. Then when those people leave bad reviews on amazon or imdb it deters people like me who might have loved it but now won't give it a chance.

At the end of the day, Beach Party is awesome and totally deserving of a following and I hope it finds it.
