While searching for something else last night I ran across the synopsis for Yannick Dahan's much anticipated La Horde, and while it leaves out the "end of the world" part which the film was originally billed with, I can still see where it might fit in. (Or maybe someone just translated wrong) Besides the obvious subject matter, one noteworthy thing about the film is that Xavier Gens will be the executive producer. Now for the synopsis: "North of Paris. In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, four corrupt cops go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobster’s hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable."
