Not tons of info on this one at the moment, but word on the horror film beat is that Filmax is prepping a sequel to the uber-hyped Spanish horror film [REC]. And not only that, but both Balaguere and Paca Plaza are apparently on board to once again co-direct the feature! Now excuse me while I jump out of my chair and perform a happy dance.

After speculation of what they were doing next, I guess we know now.. I wonder if this is due to pressure for monetary reasons or they came up with a great script? I'd be on the former..
