I didn't even know this but Mondo Macabro, DVD distributors extrordinaire of some pretty whacked out international obscurities, have their own production house called Mondo Macabro Movies. Well, their latest foray into the world of adventurous and boundary pushing cinema is Killdroid, a psycho sexual journey about a curious prep school goth chick who falls for an android designed to kill. Why do girls always go for the bad boys I ask you? Directed by Philippino shockmeister Rico Maria Ilarde (Z-Man), Killdroid is expected to pop up in Cannes this year to hopefully secure some more financing. Word is that a teaser has been shot so lets hope we get to see some of that action real soon. For now, we'll all just have to settle for these teasing images after the break.

Check out this quote from Mondo Macabro's official project announcement. If it's not enough to get you just a little excited then you might be reading the wrong site.

“KILLDROID IS A CHANCE TO EXPLORE THE DARK, THE SURREAL AND THE EXTREME IN A WAY THAT IS NOT REALLY POSSIBLE RIGHT NOW WITHIN THE COMMERCIAL MAINSTREAM IN THE PHILIPPINES,” SAYS ILARDE. “SEVERAL OF MY PREVIOUS FEATURES MET WITH CENSORSHIP PROBLEMS HERE, AND I’M HAPPY THAT THIS WON’T HAPPEN WITH MONDO MACABRO. THEY’VE TOLD ME TO BE JUST AS WILD AS I WANT TO BE,” HE ADDS, “AND I INTEND TO RISE TO THAT CHALLENGE.”

Synopsis: ""a disturbed Goth schoolgirl stumbles unwittingly across the remnants of a long abandoned military project designed to create an army of android killers from the processed bodies of dead soldiers. The girl takes on the mysteriously beautiful Kildroid as a lover, only to discover, too late, that its insatiable sexual appetite is inexorably linked with a need for slaughter."

Big up to Twitch for the news on this one.
