It's not very often I get to post news on a post apocalyptic comedy, but I'm very happy to write that it looks like this one will become a reality. In June of 2007 we posted a short (which follows after the break) of Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel disheveled and talking lots of smack. It caused quite a bit of buzz all over the net, but nobody was sure where it was going, until now! Variety is reporting that Mandate pictures has picked up the rights to the screenplay which is written by Evan Goldberg (Superbad) and Jason Stone. All that's really known right now is that it's about two guys dealing with the apocalypse, and lensing is set for 2009.
