With news of Nine Inch Nail's album Year Zero came word that Trent wanted to turn the whole concept into a film, but unfortunately that hasn't gone anywhere and word is he's currently working on a cable tv series with producer Lawrence Bender (Quentin Tarantino's partner). "Year Zero takes place approximately 15 years in the future, with the U.S. a religious dictatorship and the world on the brink of environmental and social collapse." Sounds great, and with plenty of future tech and NIN music behind it, I think it would be hugely popular. All of this came from a Blabbermouth interview, and unofrtunately, not much else is known right now.

I love NIN, but let's think about it: how would America resist becoming a paranoid theocracy when there's FRIGGIN GIANT HANDS COMING DOWN OUT OF THE SKY?

I'd still like to see what they do with the story though. The reports of the private shows to promote Year Zero were pretty crazy.
they have geniuses on both sides of the desk, so I'm hopeful.
