I really don't know what to make of this, but Universal has option the film rights to the Oni Press comic The Last Call from Oni Press, and while it sounds quite interesting, I'm not exactly sure if this is going to have children as the target audience or what. Evan Spiliotopoulos is set to do the adaptation, and all he's done is comedie's and kids stuff. Barry Josephson has produced alot of films, but nothing that falls in line with our tastes here at Quiet Earth, so really, I have to wonder why I'm even bothering to post this? Simply, the synopsis sounds too good to pass up: "While out on a midnight drive, two friends - Alec and Sam - are hit by the "Ghost Train," an inter-dimensional soul carrier. They wake up to discover themselves stuck on the train with no way out and no ticket, which is a problem when the conductor comes around. As they desperately search for an escape, the boys uncover clues that lead them deeper into the train's musty cabins and into the path of a killer!"
