A couple of days ago we posted the first leaked still of a crawler from The Descent 2, and while I'm still approaching this film with extreme prejudice, this new behind the scenes footage is still interesting. It's a news broadcast about Britain's Ealing Studios which uses footage from the making of The Descent 2 to add flavor. It features loads of crawlers and an extremely bloody Shauna MacDonald. One think that struck me while watching it was how tiny the set is, and how amazing it is how these guys can accomplish so much with so little. I truly believe that, whether it comes to recording music or making films, necessity is the mother of invention and when faced with limitations you always come up with something more creative. That's why I love indie genre films so much. I love seeing what adventurous filmmakers do with little resources. Of course The Descent 2 probably has way more of a budget than most films we cover, but you get what I'm saying. Anyway, check out the footage after the break.
