quietearth [Celluloid 06.19.08] post apocalyptic zombies movie news

Desolation, the low budget post-apocalyptic zombie flick we posted about in May now has a teaser, and while it doesn't really show much of anything, I hope their flair for the grainy cinematic style encompasses the entire feature. Here's a rundown on the story: "In the near future, the Solanum Virus raged through the North American continents. Within weeks it had engulfed the entire planet, from small rural towns to the largest cities. The dead were being reanimated, and feeding on the flesh of the living. The virus was being transfered through Viral infection, spreading through bites from the infected. So begins our story into the dystopian world of Desolation." Did I say post apocalyptic? Yeah, here's hoping for some serious "desolation" with lots of gore. Check out the teaser after the break.

I also love the grainy B&W aesthetic. Adds a lot to the atmosphere and creepy factor. Nice job man.
