Okay, so I debated posting this trailer as it's not exactly hard to find anywhere else on the nets, but after watching it I figured what the heck. We're a genre site right? And the James Bond franchise is the only film property that I can think of that has become so popular and self sufficient that it's actually morphed into its own genre. I used to call it "spy-fi" until I realized that was lame. You don't have to explain what "type" of movie James Bond is to people. It's just understood... Thankfully, the trailer itself retains the tone of Casino Royale, and Craig is a snarly as ever, but there's still a part of me that wonders how long it'll be before bad-puns and illogical action sequences reclaim this otherwise welcome re-imagining.
