16th Street is a new, and very intense looking, "end of days" short directed by talented newcomer Max Pachman. A recent graduate from Northwestern University, Pachman first made waves when his 2006 war short Anonymous won best film at the Gen Art Ignite! Film Festival in Chicago and was screened at Cannes. Well now he's back with a film that's right up our alley about a decaying world without natural water, in which a boy named Adam struggles to live. One night while fending off a psychopath trying to break into his home, he is forced to compromise his morals for the sake of water and survival. I think you'll find that the trailer after the break features some great photography. I'm definitely going to try and get my hands on a copy for review.

This is the real deal cinema heads, Max Pachman (Anonymous 2004 Cannes Film Festival) - Kevin Lucero Less (Move Me 2007 Sundance Film Festival) - Tyler Roth (The Detention Teacher 2006 Harlem International Film Festival), team up to make the best end of days film since Mad Max. Want it, need it, buy it, taste it, see it at a festival near you!!!!!!!!!!!
