While impatiently awaiting the Red Dawn remake (I hate communism so this film holds a special place in my heart) comes news that Survivors is well into shooting its second block of shows. Yes, that means the pilot is ready to go and will be debuting sometime this Fall on BBC One. While the article does mention it will eventually hit BBC America, I can guess there's going to be some of us (like me) who can't wait. The original show and the redux are both about a virus that kills the majority of the population, which eventually throws back humanity to the ages of farming, an art which has to be re-learned. The original show aired for three seasons and is hands down the best PA show there is (I think pretty much everyone will agree with me on that). Here is casting and other details on the remake. Anyone know where someone can get copies of the original series in Canada? I'm having the damnest time trying to find it.
