Following our last post about bird flu causing a zombie outbreak, I'll follow up with Virus Undead because I just got my hands on the theatrical trailer, and also got my screener in the mail yesterday courtesy of Luftpost and the USPS. We've been covering this film for quite some time now, and it only recently had it's world premier at the Shanghai International Film Festival where I've been told it was well received. Virus Undead seems to be a hybrid of Hitchcock's Birds and good old zombie mayhem which is set in the village of Brandenburgischen where five young people are confronted with a very advanced strain of the bird flu virus which turns people into blood thirsty monsters. You can catch a quick glimpse of one of these zombies in the trailer which is after the break.
