We recently wrote that the post-apocalyptic Pulse 2: Afterlife will be hitting DVD on September 30th, and with the release of some stills I'm betting we're going to get a trailer in short order. But on to the news, the stills look terrible but then again it's a cheap sequel, and regardless of how bad they look I loved Pulse so much I'm still going to watch it. "The world has been reshaped by the invasion of ghosts via the wireless internet. Cities are deserted, technology has been destroyed and the few remaining human beings eschew anything electrical in order to avoid a confrontation with the soulless ghosts that now wander the planet. Most of the ghosts are doomed to a repetitive loop of something they did while they were still despairing humans (a man repeatedly hangs himself, for example), but there are some ghosts so locked in denial, they do not know they are dead. They continue to haunt their homes, wrapped in fear that their souls will soon be torn from them." Stills after the break!

these stills remind me of that trend in the early 90s of "interactive movie" pc games like return to zork and phantasmagoria.. back when "multimedia" was still a hip, newfangled buzz word.

I run a Jamie Bamber fansite so was excited to learn that stills for the film we're being released, but while the promo pic involving him is fine a few, particularly the 'ghost' shot left me going, "Huh?" I've seen better screencaps done by amateurs.

And I'm a little shocked that the distributors of the film - Genius Products and Dimension Extreme - haven't updated their websites about the release.

That ghost in the third picture looks like a thalidomide victim.
