I'm not sure if this has zombies, but one thing I can definitely say is that if the president is reduced to a makeshift kitchen table for his desk in an empty room, we're pretty much screwed. Josh over at True Indie Films got in touch with us to let us know about this new short which they're currently working on and hopefully will get made into a feature length film. Here's a rundown: "It takes place two years after a world wide infection from an unexplained virus that destroyed most of the earth's population. The virus turns people into animalistic cannibals, and the government tries to control it as much as possible, but when there looks like no hope of keeping the virus at bay they resort to extermination of everybody outside of the controlled areas. This is where we find our two heroes, Morgan and Buddy, who just want to live what life they can. Now they must run from the infected cannibals and their own government." That's all we have for now, the clip is after the break.

The news anchor/radio reporter (whoever the hell it was supposed to be) who performed the V.O. sounded like a desperate choice. What was the criteria for finding the person to do that job? "Can you speak? Can you form coherent sentences? Perfect! You're in!" If you want your film to be more terrifying and less like that of a weekend middle school project, I suggest you find someone with an appropriate on-air voice/personality to at least do the preview. It was shoddy at best, and really turned me off.
