To say we're excited about the supernatural horror and neo-wuxia flick Painted Skin would be an understatement. As we've said many times, word is that nothing has come out of Hong Kong like this in a long time, and all the stills and the trailer look nothing short of fantastic. The film's plot centers on a vampire-like woman who eats the skins and hearts of her lovers and is based on a series of classic Chinese stories "Strange Tales of Liaozhai." It drops in HK on September 25th. Check a higher res version of the poster after the break.
