Just the concept of Analogue, solving a murder with only fragments of sound to go on, makes this British film sound like a winner. In fact, I can't think of a more unique mystery concept that's come along since Chris Nolan used fragmented memory to weave the mind-bending tale of Memento. Analogue, which is still just a film in development at this point, is being backed by the same bunch that brought us Mum & Dad, and will be director Suki Singh's first feature length film. Set in the heart of London, Analogue is a dark psychological thriller about Luke Meek, a young detective who becomes obsessed with the disappearance of his best friend Jason McCoy as a result of a brutal attack. With no memory of the incident except fragments of sound, Luke tries to solve the mystery of what really transpired that fateful night. You can check out more on the film here, but be sure to take a gander at the impressive conceptual promo reel after the break.
