Yeah I know, I wish that this particular Philip K. Dick adaptation was going into film production too but meh, I'll take what I can get. We reported on Marvel comics' decision to adapt my favorite scifi writer's short story Electric Ant a while back but I just came across some awesome early concept art by David Mack and Pascal Alixe and thought I'd share the cyberpunk goodness. For those of you who still don't know, the story is about a man who wakes from a car crash to find that he is not only an 'electric ant' (as in, an organic robot), but that what he has always believed to be his reality is in fact being fed to him through a cassette recorder embedded in his chest. The comic is set to be a limited series released in 2009. Concept art after the break.
