While not big fans of anime around here, we've reported on Studio 4C's amazing anime anthology Genius Party Beyond, so we're going to have to share this one. "Set in WWII, the story is set in the third year of the war, when the third reich laid siege to the reds in the east, and it has something to do with "The order of the sacred sword", a German Catholic spiritual-military order of knights which in the 13th century carried out an armed incursion into the territory of Eastern Europe. The order was founded at the time of the crusades in Palestine at the end of the 12th Century A.D., and was endorsed by Pope Innocent III in 1198." This looks like a real cross-culture attempt as the website is in Japanese, English, and Russian, and the anime is nothing short of stunning. Check out the trailer after the break!
