For those of you who missed Jim Mickle's Mulberry Street (review) I'd highly recommend it, it's sort of a rat take on the zombie genre set in lower Manhattan. I actually got to see it at last year's Toronto After Dark, and the audience loved it. Now comes word that one of my personal favorite filmmakers, Larry Fessenden and his Glass Eye Pix production company will be producing Jim Mickle's next, a vampire story also set in Manhattan called STAKE LAND. Nick Damici will also star in and co-write this film which will begin lensing this November. Unfortunately there's not much else, but I'm excited!
