quietearth [Celluloid 10.02.08] post apocalyptic movie news scifi

Special thanks to Victor for the heads up on this new footage from the Spanish post apocalyptic flick we've been watching for some time now. Since the film is being shot with the RED ONE camera and will be a hybrid of live action and 3d animation, I'm betting this clip is just a taste sans any effects. The film is a mad max meets the searchers sci-fi drama about a father protecting his son, and as far as I know it's currently in production. We have some conceptual footage from our last post, and below the break you'll find a new live action clip.

Hello! I'm Rafael Calvo. I wrote the script for Linko. Cause I always liked very much the post apocalyptic genre I tried to make a tribute to it: the characters have survived a global war and live hidden in a rundown airport that they have transformed in a farm. Then some pirates arrive (Linko is the name of one of theM9. It's going to be the first time for a made in Spain feature film combining real actors with CGI backgrounds and effects. We are already editing it, hope it become a fine flick.

The provisional teaser for LINKO has been updated (some new shots and a less crude sound). The film is still on post-production processing. Background CGI shots as seen in the teaser are just tests.
