I do love dystopic overpopulation films, especially the likes of ZPG, so let's hope writer/director Barthelemy Grossmann can pull it off!

"Set in 2100, 'Fortuna' envisions an Earth where a collapsed economy and climate crises have eliminated the middle class, leaving a few very wealthy and the teeming masses in severe poverty. To give hope and avoid revolt, the elite create Fortuna, a mysterious game where one in a thousand wins a big payday and joins the upper classes. But their hidden goal to "reduce poverty" by 30% over 50 years comes with a deadly price tag."

According to THR, the six-week "Fortuna" shoot begins Nov. 10 in Sofia, Bulgari and stars Dominic Monaghan and Freddy Rodriguez. Desolate, ghettolike sets are being built for a film co-producer Laurent Zilber compares to 1973's postapocalyptic thriller "Soylent Green." Just one problem, Soylent Green is NOT post-apocalyptic, it's a dystopic overpopulation film. Get your facts straight folks!

It's Bulgari*a*! :) Damn you, guys! If your site wasn't the best post-apocalypse film/book info site on the Internet, I would suicide bomb it into post-apocalyptic Web 3.0 oblivion! :)

PS: Get *YOUR* spelling straight folks!
