I got in a couple of quick questions with William Malone at the world premier of his film Parasomnia and it turns out he's making an indy scifi flick with a decent budget next!

Cyberhal: I've heard a rumor you're working on a new Sci-Fi movie, can you tell us anything more about that?

Bill Malone: That's right. It's a kind of sweeping Sci-Fi, with kick ass babes and gang-banger robots. It's called Phoenix Dust. It's a kind of Indie movie but with a budget around $25 million.

Cyberhal: I heard you had a couple of other upcoming projects too?

Bill Malone: it's too early to talk about those. I can't really say anything on those right now, you know it's always tough with the finance.

And we were able to dig up a little synopsis as well as the piece of art you see.

"This is Phoenix Dust and her side kick "Victor". You may not be familiar with her yet but you will be. She is the nihilist lead character of PHOENIX DUST, a screenplay by William Malone (director of “House on Haunted Hill”) and Robert Short. the project, which is In development, will take the audience into a futuristic dark world ruled by corruption, championed by passion and ultimately betrayed by love."

More as it comes!
