I've been following this one for quite a long time, back when we found out about the PA flick Linko. Ignacio Benedeti is to produce this film as well with Adan Aliaga directing. This will be his second feature film, and it's based on a graphic novel by Lorenzo Mattotti and Claudio Piersanti about an alcoholic with tragic fate whose hands start to bleed, hence the Stigmata. The comic is in black and white and the imagery is very dark (see here). Furthermore, this story of the loneliness of a man marked by a tragic fate, trapped in a world of madness will be beautifully shot from what I can tell. Filming began October 13th and will run for two months. Check after the break for stills.
