Back in May we reported that Argentinian director Lucrecia Martel was planning on turning Hector German Oesterheld's graphic novel El Eternauta, about a epic alien fuelled apocalypse, into a full blown production. Currently it's skedded for a 2010 release which is one hell of a wait considering it's easily one of our most anticipated films. For this reason alone we plan on bringing you every piece of news no matter how small until that day in 2010 when we can sit down and revel in apocalyptic bliss.

Long time reader and pal of Quiet Earth, Avery, stumbled across a couple of videos that are student made projects. They appear to be mostly green screen work. While not associated with the actual film production, they're still great, the last scene of the teaser is particularly stunning.
