This has been called a genre mashup of thriller, horror, science-fiction, comedy and fairytale and it looks like it might be a contender at the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival. Adapted by the director from UK writer Rose Tremain’s short story “Moth”, from the collection The Darkness of Wallis Simpson, the story begins with the encounter between Katie and Paco, two ordinary human beings who experience something magic and miraculous: a love affair. This union leads to the birth of an extraordinary baby: Ricky. The whole story centers on Ricky who grows wings. Yeah that's right, WINGS. I don't know what to make of the whole genre spiel, but it sure sounds interesting, and knowing the French, it will either be arthouse fare or some really weird genre stuff. Unfortunately that's all I can find on it right now, but we'll keep you updated.

What, Ludivine Sagnier isn't in this? Noooooo! This is a strange choice for Ozon but I'm in.
