Ever wondered how the monkeys in Planet of the Apes acquired the power of speech--while mankind was rendered mute? Where the plague that ravaged the planet originated, and what effects it had, not only on man and ape, but on other creatures? Ever pondered on the many unique simian and human cultures that spawned around the globe in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust—and how the Statue of Liberty ended up in pieces on a desolate beach? Then this book is for you.

Let's face it, between six Planet of the Apes films, a short lived television series, a slew of comic book stories, and even an animated series, wading through the expansive world of Planet of the Apes and piecing together how it all fits can be a tricky and time consuming experience. Luckily, author Rich Handley feels your pain and has put everything together in an exhaustively comprehensive chronology called "Timeline of the Planet of the Apes."

Published by Hasslein Books, "Time of the Planet of the Apes" is paperback but notheless pretty lavish, featuring loads of pictures. It's currently only available through Lulu so dust off the ol' credit card.
