Of all the outsider films we've covered over the years at Quiet Earth none has caused quite as much controversy as Bruce LaBruce's Otto; Or Up With Dead People. Of course, considering it's a graphic "gay zombie revolt against consumerist society" I suppose we shouldn't be all that surprised.
Thing is, once you compartmentalize whatever feelings you may have about the graphic portrayal of the subject matter you quickly discover that it's quite an extraordinary film. If you missed quietearth's review you'll find it here.
The film is seeing a dvd release from Strand Releasing on February 10th and has just become available for pre-order.
