Quite Earth reader and tireless news hound Avery, just sent us word that director Ben Williams (J'OK'EL) is hard at work developing a new Mexican PA film that is set to begin lensing as early as March of 2009. Budgeted at a modest 35 million pesos (aprox. $270,000) the film will be an ambitious undertaking.

Night Without Sky will tell the story of a mysterious artifact that falls from the sky in the center of distrito federal of Mexico and starts to cause chaos and disaster. People at the scene in that area are basically cut off from the rest of the world as they are not allowed to leave nor is anyone allowed to enter and we don't get to see the exterior or what the president is saying about it all.

Exactly what causes these disasters or what the disasters entail is unknown at this time, but our sources tell us there is every possibility it's part of an Alien plot. We've also got an early test clip of said object making impact with Mexico for you after the break.

"Noche Sin Cielo" could also be translated as; "Skyless Night".
