Back in April, we brought you word that Dreamworks had procured the film rights to Atlantis Rising, a five part apocalyptic comic series put out by Platinum Studios comics. Word this morning from Variety is that Len "Underworld" Wiseman has officialy signed on to direct the film after he completes a thriller called Motorcade. Here's what Atlantis Rising is about:
“After more than a thousand years of peaceful coexistence, Atlantis and the surface world are on the brink of war with the fate of both civilizations hanging in the balance.”
