As quietearth said when he shared this link with me, "this stuff is pure gold." Of course he's right in more ways than one. Zombie Strippers might have sounded bad on paper but it was production company Scream HQ's ticket to financial windfall. Zombie Strippers debuted as one of Amazon’s twenty best-selling horror DVDs of all time so who can argue with that action.
This of course brings us to Scream HQ's roster of upcoming projects, all of which promise to be as deliciously fun filled as Zombie Strippers. Can the world resist Cannibal Bitches of Beverly Hills? Meatville, Ouijahead, or Scream Queen? What about the touted Sex and the City meets Hostel of "Blood Sisters?" I think the wrting's on the wall people. These upcoming flicks will be very popular.
We've got the full skinny on all the projects so go get your exploitation fix.
Cannibal Bitches of Bevery Hills
Script by: Jim Roof
When super-star teen heiress Summer Holiday’s plane crashes, she is stranded in the wilds of Santa Monica for forty-five harrowing minutes! Driven to the brink of madness, Summer survives her horrifying ordeal by eating her loyal maid, and discovers that human flesh is not only tasty, but is also slimming.
Soon, her all-meat diet is de rigueur amongst the elite of Beverly High, who begin to feed upon the school’s social outcasts. Only one person stands between Summer’s cannibal clique and total nerd annihilation: pint sized juvenile delinquent Roxy Jones. Armed with nothing but a piss-poor attitude and a bitchin’ ninja sword, Roxy and her misfit friends unite the school’s dweebs, dorks and spazzes, leading to a climactic prom-night battle between the mighty nerd army and the Cannibal Bitches of Beverly Hills.
Scream Queen
Script by: Jay Lee
Horror-Con is always a blast for fans of cinematic gore, but this year’s promises to be unforgettable. For the first time in the convention’s history, there will be not one, not two, but four guests of honor: Four legendary scream queens, each representing a different decade of classic American horror. There’s a teensy little hitch, though: A hideously deformed maniac is on the loose in the convention center, slaughtering everyone standing between him and the objects of his mad obsession: the Scream Queens!
A grotesquely horrific comic romp in the vein of Zombie Strippers, Scream Queen offers everything horror fans crave: Gore, laughs, gore, gratuitous nudity, and of course, gore.
Meatville
Script by: Jay Lee
In a remote corner of the deep south sits a forgotten town; a town whose true name has long been abandoned. When a group of government workers arrive to survey the area, they discover that the natives are a hostile, sinister lot. But the most sinister townsperson of them all is the man whose manners, hospitality and impeccable dress set him apart from the shabby and uncouth locals.
A gourmet who feeds on the purest of foods, he insists on eating the only meat that has not been genetically altered: Human flesh. Will he and his mad, white masked daughter devour all the hapless surveyors, or will some survive to escape that terrifying place called Meatville.
The House with 1,000 Eyes
Script by: Jim Roof
Three young drifters are lured by a seemingly normal couple to an escape-proof house whose every room is under constant sureillance. The couple’s goal? To film the snuff world’s first “triple feature” - the torture and murder of three victims within one night. What unfolds is an unflinching, documentary-style depiction of the horrifying events that follow. As the atrocities mount, tensions rise between the murderous couple, leading to a shocking, blood soaked climax.
Ouijahead
Script by: Jay Lee
Life isn’t easy for small-town teenager Jordan Chry. He’s the town joke, a misfit outcast forced to endure the in-crowd’s cruel, vicious harassment. However, his luck seems to take a turn for the better when he stumbles across an abandoned toy: a Ouija board. At first, the board seems nothing more than a harmless game, but when it accurately predicts a girl’s death, Jordan begins to suspect it holds a dark, sinister power; a power that can help him enact terrible revenge upon his tormentors. As his psyche unravels and his madness grows, a dark psychological drama unfolds, drawing us deeper and deeper into the shattered mind of a boy beholden to the murderous orders of his Ouija board.
Blood Sisters
Script by: Jay Lee
A chick flick meets a slasher film. Two roomates discover their other roomate has a tendency to bring home the men who hit on her, then torture and kill them in their apartment. Hostel meets Sex and the City.
Dead Men
Script by: Jay Lee
In the Old West, a motley band of murderous outlaws stumbles across an eerie desert town; a town where every day is El Dia de los Muertos: The Day of the Dead. The village’s crazed inhabitants aren’t the gravest danger the fugitives must face, though, for the very desert itself is alive. It is a brutal, ravenous entity that loves, kills, and feeds. It even walks, in the form of a ravishing, seductive woman whose embrace brings ecstasy, madness, and death. Can the outlaws resist her terrible charms, or will they succumb and fall victim to the desert’s unquenchable wrath?
RIP
Script by: Jim Roof
Guitar thrashing tough-girl Jesse and her college buds set out to enjoy a weekend of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll at a secluded cabin near the small town of Lonely Point. But as darkness falls, their dream vacation turns into a nightmare when they are attacked by a horrifying, monstrous husband and wife duo. As the teens are slaughtered one by one, they discover they are not the victims of a random attack, but have been lured to the cabin to serve as sacrifices to the grisly killers who haunt Lonely Point. Caged like animals, cut off from the outside world, Jesse and her friends must learn the terrifying origin of their inhuman tormentors in order to survive.
