Looking for your daily dose of fouthmouthed, violent, and debaucherous NSFW film material? Then you're in luck because last night AICN discovered that a promo reel for Crank 2: High Voltage had hit the net and it is indeed potty mouthed. Cramming in more F bombs and ass than an Andrew Dice Clay stand up routine (wow, that reference just dated me), this promo proves that Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor haven't gone all Hollywood on us just yet.

Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

Of course I've had countless arguments over the merits (or lack thereof) of Crank but whatever side of that argument you sit on, I think if you watch the promo reel you'll see that if there was ever an out-there film worth discussing on QE it was Crank 2: High Voltage. Enjoy!

looks good; seems even more over the top than the first one, if that's possible. Though it looks lower budget as well.

what camera did they film this with again? I remember watching/reading an interview with neveldine and taylor about it.

despite being sort of a linkin park fan, i have to say the song doesnt work at all for this. if i can be arsed i remix it to something else, that will actually make sense. chester (the vocalist) is in the trailer though, so thats probably the reason why they went with it.

They used two camera types. One was a Canon HF11 - not sure about the other. Google it.

Yeah low budget alright. It's like it's made by the guys from Jackass. The first Crank had a lot of people talking so i guess this will have a bit of a cult following. Lots of viewers.
