judging by the trailer, its also fully glorifying violence, as opposed to the first trailer where we saw at least the protagonist struggle with the brutal world he was thrown into. they all seem to love it.

Feels more like a remake of that British film "Victory" with Michael Caine where the inmates of a prison play the guards. But yeah, they're obviously using hooligan violence to market the film. Feels more macho Americanized than English to me but that just might be the prison setting.

I didn't find Green Street Hooligans to be an authentic movie about Casuals subculture.

They should've read this book first

Green Street was a hilariously unrealistic look at football casuals, with the emphasis on hilarious - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll look forward to the sequel, it looks even more stupid!

i watched GSH2 today and to be honest it aint a patch on the first installment..only thing that made it watchable was the violence but apart from that it was pure ****e
