Quiet Earth reader Avery pointed us towards a cool new indie horror coming from Nightmare Kinetics called Banshee. From the looks of the trailer, cinematographer turned director Emil Novak has made the best of a tight budget by merging some great editing and photography techniques with top-notch make-up FX.

Mysterious Banshee eggs have been shipped to American from Ireland. They are raised to fly and live in an old unused train terminal in Buffalo NY. A wailing sound can be heard when death is close. And they are hungry!

You can check out the trailer after the break. It starts off slow but builds to show off it's jittery weirdness. For more info on the still in production Banshee you can check out the film's Myspace page.
